Options for video game rental services are limitless. Your decision in choosing the route you go is determined on your needs and the ages of your children. Evaluating those needs will save you a ton of money.

Choices for video game rental services are many. Your choice in determining the route you go is determined upon your wants and the ages of your kids. Determining those needs will save you a great deal of cash.

You can spend between ten and seventy bucks for a single game. But you just have a limited investment renting the same one. It’s a real bummer to buy a game only to figure out that you really don’t like it. Renting the game gives you a chance to try before you purchase.

If your child still wants a game for home use for more than a few days it might be more cost effective to rent it a couple times before buying if it seems like he or she is starting to talk about a different game.

If you still need to purchase, there may be a used copy for sale or you can go on the internet and get the game at a more reasonable price. These same games are a lot less expensive if it is an instant download as the retailers do not have to pay for the disk and shipping costs. Many sites have trial versions as well. Or you could swap games with other parents.

There are also many game sites that you can subscribe to on a short term basis and sign up for a temporary membership. You will probably need a credit card, so make sure you remember which site you give your details too and also know when the trial is over. You can test out lots of game sites and see which one appeals to your child’s interest.

Gaming systems also have options for testing out games. With an online connection and your Wii, you can go to the Wii store and buy points to use for limited game use. You may even like this as they have through back versions of classic games no longer available in stores.

Also at your local department store are cards such as NexPoints that you can purchase to use on the internet. You can use these for your kids or as a present to one of their pals at the next birthday party. Young ones dig them.

Your choices for video game rental services are open and ongoing. Figure out what is right for you based on your young ones and how long you wish to keep a game. You will be creating smiles while saving money.

Your choices for renting games these days are unlimited. The best options for online game rental services for you are what fit your budget and needs best. Inside skinny at online game rental reviews.

At almost $400 for the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Elite Console and $300 for the Elite Console the Xbox 360 is indeed an investment in itself. When you factor in the cost of must-have accessories like the universal remote and the additional controllers as well as the games themselves, you are looking at an investment that can and will run in the hundreds of dollars.

Even though this system can represent a serious investment, many gamers lose sight of the importance of practicing proper maintenance for their Xbox 360 in the thrill of the gaming this system provides. Gamers will often treat their console as if it were indestructible – at least until the much feared “red ring of death” shows up as a reminder that this system does need to be cared for properly. Once this sign appears, it is often a sign that you need to change your ways and fast if you hope to keep your console working.

Fortunately, you can take the following measures in protecting your Xbox 360 and, hence, prolonging its life for your gaming pleasure. Keep in mind that the main enemies of the Xbox are heat, dust and dirt.

In order to keep your Xbox 360 from overheating, it is essential to give your console a rest from time to time, especially during those marathon gaming sessions. Just taking a 30 minute break every couple of hours can make all the difference. Keep your Xbox 360 away from heaters and direct sunlight and off of blankets, carpets and other materials which tend to trap heat to prevent overheating.[youtube:boDiN869Ilg;[link:XBOX 360 Repair];http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boDiN869Ilg&feature=related]

Electronics like amplifiers are also sources of heat which can cause overheating in your Xbox 360; keep your console clear of these products. You should also avoid using your console while it is in an unventilated area such as a closed entertainment center. Your Xbox 360 needs adequate ventilation in order to disperse heat – the best places for using your Xbox are rooms where there is air conditioning or where you can position a fan to provide ventilation for your console. If you use external cooling accessories with your Xbox 360, make sure to power them from a wall outlet rather than using your console for power.

To keep your Xbox 360 safe from dust and dirt, you should keep the console away from any place which tends to get dusty, such as open windows and especially underneath beds; a place where many Xbox owners seem to stash their consoles. It is recommended to use a cover to protect your Xbox 360 from dust when it is not actually in use.

If you must travel with your Xbox 360 in tow, be sure that you have a special carrying case for it. This way, you provide protection for the console from the dirt, dust and grime as well as the bumps and grinds of transportation.

You can keep your console protected from dust and dirt by keeping the area you keep your Xbox in as free of dirt as possible. You should also keep your Xbox 360 discs protected by keeping them in your cases, since dust and dirt can also damage your games. If you smoke, make sure not to do it around your console; smoke can also damage the system.

Your Xbox 360 is not just any gaming system – it is an investment you need to protect. With diligent care, you can ensure that your Xbox can keep you entertained for years to come.

In the past few years there has been a war waging between three great giants: Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. This war was at its fiercest during the launching of the original Xbox. Microsoft designed the Xbox to compete with the already proven Playstation 3 and the media favorite of Nintendo’s GameCube. With the launching of the Xbox 360, successor to the Xbox, the console war reached new heights, though, it must be said that the Xbox 360 was an obvious winner for a year after its initial release.

Sony and Nintendo had no intention of simply surrendering the field, and quickly released their own seventh generation gaming consoles, the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. This time, gamers had more choices and it was harder to pick between the three since each console offered its own unique strengths and weaknesses. To make it easier on the consumer, this is a brief comparison between the Xbox 360 and its competition.

When it comes to games, the Xbox 360 is the clear and obvious winner with a library of nearly a thousand games. The Xbox 360 also has the highest number of exclusive titles even though the Playstaion 3 offers more exclusive franchises. Add to that the sheer number of positive reviews given the Xbox 360 titles by consumers and critics, who point out the noticeable similarities between many of the Playstation 3 games and those offered by the Xbox 360.

The Wii has taken a slightly different path when considering what titles to offer, and focuses its orientation on games the whole family can enjoy, from children to adults. There is less violence, less murder and gore with the Wii than one will find in the Xbox 360. Even so, while there are fewer comparisons when looking at the available games, there are still a few that share similarities with the Xbox 360. So, the battle will have to move away from games and onto another field.

For quality of graphics, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have very close competition that a draw must be declared. Some quarters, however, will insist that the Playstation 3 possesses more intense visual and audio components than Xbox 360 but it will depend on what your definition of good graphics is.

The Wii, unfortunately, cannot compete with either the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 on the graphics front. The Nintendo-manufactured gaming console does not appear to focus on this area for some reason or another. Thus, if you want excellent graphics with outstanding audio, then either the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3 is the ideal choice. Take note, too, that Playstation 4 offers Blu-ray support, an advantage over the Xbox 360.

For the quality of the controls, the Wii has a very good fighting chance with its motion controller that mimics the movement of the user sand buttons to push and bats to swing. However, it can be at a disadvantage with the Xbox 360 because of the greater availability of options with either a wireless or wired controller.

In the end, the Xbox 360 is more versatile, and even now, years after its initial release, it continues to be the leading game console in the industry. However, this doesn’t mean the war is over. Far from it. It’s beginning all over again with eighth generation consoles already on the way. But, for now, the Xbox 360 rules the field, and will continue to be a strong contender.

If you’re looking for an easy way to find out about burn xbox 360 games, this is the best way. The easy way is here, just go here and learn all about xbox 360 hacks and stop spending money on more and more games.

The marketing of Halo 3 was wildly anticipated, as the game was the third in the original three-part series of the Halo videos. As a result, the Halo 3 trial download was one of the most frequently downloaded video game demos in the history of the Xbox 360. But what many people don’t remember is that the Halo 3 trial download went on to make another game ie Crackdown.

What does the Halo 3 demo download have to do with any another video game? Well, it has a lot to do with the sale and promotional work for a game that was originally planned for release on the Xbox system. Microsoft had become concerned that Crackdown wouldn’t sell well.

Therefore, they employed a marketing tactic, the one of bundling Crackdown with an access code for the Halo 3 trial download. And it worked a treat because Crackdown sold 1.5 million copies within the first half year of its release. Those aren’t Halo 3 numbers, which sold 8.1 million units in slightly over a year, but for a lesser well-known game that’s absolutely terrific.

Microsoft had turned to the Halo 3 trial download tactic because of poor reports about the game from the play testers. They found the nonlinear nature of the game off-putting, often leaving them asking themselves what they were meant to be doing next.

Because of this, the powers that be thought that something had to be done or the game would be a loser. It may seem dodgy practice at first to attempt to force sales of a game that’s expected to be unpopular, but in retrospect people like the game and it was a good thing that they were able to get the chance to play it.

In Crackdown, and that includes the version bundled with the Halo 3 trial download, people play the role of an agent who is assigned to defeat the kingpins or leaders of different gangs. To do this they use some superhuman powers such as super strength and super fitness. In order to obtain these powers, players have to accumulate experience by beating enemies who then release experience orbs. The clever idea in the system was that the sort of orbs released was reliant on the method in which the agent killed the enemy. For example, a firearms orb appears if the enemy was wiped out with a gun.

So, although at first sight this game bundled with the Halo 3 free download seems to be nothing but a veiled marketing trick, in reality, it exposed gamers to an exciting new gameplay experience.

A leading pioneer of seventh generation consoles made by any of the three largest manufacturers, the Xbox 360 carries almost a thousand games to date. This can make searching for the best games hard, especially since most Xbox titles can cost as much as $60 a piece, no matter how good it is. Fortunately, you can simply buy these top six picks to your Xbox library instead of purchasing an attractive package of good and mediocre games.

The worthy successor to the highly-rated Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion game, Fallout 3 has gained similar positive reviews. With its post-World War II setting, Fallout 3 successfully combines three elements of an excellent action strategy game: fast-paced action in combat, realistic first-person shooter perspective, and intelligent survival in a post-apocalyptic scenario. And even if you have yet to play a Fallout game before, you will definitely enjoy picking up Fallout 3 now.

2) Next on the list is Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and the Damned, a trailblazing game and the first in the GTA series to offer an online multiplayer mod with 15 different games to chose from. The visuals for Liberty City, along with a detailed story-line and large cast of characters have earned it several “Game of the Year” awards. Many new features have been added, such as new cars, weapons, and story lines.[youtube:OgScgOHe9jI;[link:XBOX 360 Mod Chip?];http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgScgOHe9jI&feature=related]

Yet another multi-awarded game is Dead Space, which reviewers have rightfully deemed as the “World’s Scariest Game”. This intriguing description alone should be sufficient reason to purchase the game although it must be said that if you are afraid of the dark and the unseen monsters it can yield, then this might not be the game for you. If you like third-person horror-action games, then Dead Space is the one and only game for you.

4) Gears of War 2 is a game for those who love third-person shooters, but don’t want the intensity the previous game offers. One of the most popular games in the history of Xbox, GoW2 has a new multiplayer option that allows for up to ten players. And it’s not just the multiplayer option. Jaw-dropping graphics, a full, immersive story-line and did I mention the graphics? A must have for any fans of the third-person shooter.

5) And then there was Halo 3. Third in the series, this title can stand on its own with a new multiplayer map lineup, a saved films option, and the Forge level editor — which earned Halo 3 the “Best Multiplayer Game” award. If you enjoyed the first two games, then Halo 3 should be top of your list.

Proof positive that not all Xbox 360 best games involve murder and mayhem is The Beatles: Rock Band music video game. Reviewers have praised its visuals and audio as the best ever yet, with some calling it a surreal experience. Users play it by using controllers shaped like various musical instruments to the tunes of The Beatles, of course.

There are other excellent Xbox 360 games worth playing day and night. Just read the reviews of the best games available and purchase them. Indeed, the Xbox 360 offers many, many gaming options.

There are lots of ways to download xbox 360 games, this way is really easy. Really great info here, so click to find out about how to burn xbox 360 games and find out the easy way to do it. Don’t spend hard earned cash on games anymore.

I guess this is every gamer’s nightmare: you were just playing with your Halo 3 when you Xbox 360 completely went whacko. There’s that hope for the four green lights to go back on but then rather you get the red ring of death instead. In this situation, what must you do?

Before I start with the solution, let us delve deeper on the problem. The red ring of death is also known as the 3 red light problem. Basically, you will be able to notice that your Xbox 360 is flashing 3 red lights instead of the 4 green ones that denote that your Xbox 360 is working fine.

The 3 red light problem is often diagnosed as a general hardware failure or a core digital failure. But you can expect this problem to happen right after you get this warning. Before the RRoD strikes, your Xbox 360 will go through a freeze-up with a checkerboard or pinstripe display and a weird, static sound.

Now to the solutions, if you want to do things by the book you can always send your Xbox 360 to Microsoft to be fixed. Of course, not all gamers are sold to this idea for practicality sake.

First, it can get really expensive to have Microsoft repair your Xbox 360. Second, it takes weeks before your Xbox 360 to be sent back.

The other solution is to repair your Xbox 360 yourself. This route is pretty simple, cost efficient and you only need a 3 red light fix repair guide. What you should expect to get with your 3 red light fix repair guide is a pdf file together with a few video files. You can also get online support from the guide’s website.

The great thing about the written instructions is that they are very easy to follow. Because of the clear and simple way that it was written, you can easy go through the steps. You can also refer to the illustrations.

Finally, you can refer to the videos for step by step demonstrations.

Fine, you have an Xbox 360 and it’s currently broken, what then must you do? This is a common dilemma that most gamers are facing. We would all want to treat our game consoles as an investment which we do not want to see as simply gathering dust. However, how do you fix your Xbox 360 then?

The most common solution is to send your Xbox 360 to Microsoft to be repaired. However, not a lot of gamers are keen on using this route.

First reason is that sending your Xbox 360 to Microsoft can really put a dent in your wallet. And you can afford to keep sending your console all the time. And it really takes a long while before your console is returned to you.

If you want to be in control of your Xbox 360, then you can always try repairing it yourself. And repairing your own console can actually save you a lot as well. You only need to have an Xbox 360 repair guide to kick things off. There are so many guides available online for you to choose from.

Before you get started with everything, you have to scrutinize the Xbox 360 repair guide that you want to purchase because not every guide can pass the cut.

Make sure that you can understand all the instructions. It has to be really clear and easy to follow.

The next thing that you want to make sure that your repair guide also has videos. Videos provide extra convenience because you can see all the steps being demonstrated. You also want to find a repair guide that has a website that is updated every now and then with new videos and provides online support as well.

Lastly, make sure that you read the fine print when it comes to your Xbox 360 repair guide. Some will only provide troubleshooting information for one single problem while others provide support for an entire slew. And try to find out their refund policies before you purchase the guide.

Slow down. Checkout my xbox 360 repair guide review today for an excellent review about the xbox 360 repair guide today.

Recently, the console war between Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo has escalated, and it’s all thanks to the Xbox. The original Xbox was designed to compete directly with Sony’s highly popular Playstation 3 and the Nintendo GameCube, recently emerging in the consumer’s awareness. With the Xbox 360′s launch, the console war climbed to new levels of competition, though it can be said that the Xbox 360 was the clear winner for a full year after its release.

Sony and Nintendo had no intention of simply lying down, and they both quickly released their own seventh generation gaming consoles, the Playstation 3 and the popular Wii. This time it was harder for gamers to pick between one or the other since each console came with its own strengths and weaknesses. To simply things, this article will compare the Xbox 360 and its two competitors in terms of games, controls, and graphics.

Xbox 360 wins hands down when it comes to the sheer quantity of games available with almost a thousand titles to choose from. While the Playstation 3 offers more exclusive franchises, the the Xbox 360 has more exclusive titles, as well as having more titles with positive reviews and rankings. Consumers and critics alike have pointed out that many of the adventure and fighting games offered by the Playstation 3 are very similar to those offered by the Xbox 360.

The Wii, however, is competing in a different way, focusing its attention on family friendly games rather than violent shooters. The titles offered by the Wii are so varied it’s like comparing apples and oranges. So, the battle between consoles must be taken to another front.

For quality of graphics, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have very close competition that a draw must be declared. Some quarters, however, will insist that the Playstation 3 possesses more intense visual and audio components than Xbox 360 but it will depend on what your definition of good graphics is.

The Wii, however, simply is not in the running in this competition, either with the Xbox 360 or the Playstation 3. The Nintendo Wii has chosen to turn its focus to areas other than graphics engines or audio components and so, if you want jaw-dropping graphics and excellent audio, you should purchase either an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3. And, something to keep in mind, the Playstation 4 offers Blu-ray support, a decided advantage over the Xbox 360, which launched in 2001.

For controller quality, the Wii has a very good chance of winning with its motion controller which can mimic the movement of the user, with bats to swing and buttons to push. However, the Xbox 360 offers more options than the Wii, with the availability of either wired or wireless controllers.

The verdict: The many features the Xbox 360 offers continue to make it a trailblazer in the industry. However, this doesn’t mean the Xbox has won the war. Far from it. The war isn’t over by a long shot. In fact, it may be just about to begin again. For now, though, the Xbox 360 continues to dominate the field.

Gaming console wars have been going on for quite a long time, weather it was Texas Instruments Vs Atari, Nintendo Vs Sega, and Xbox Vs Playstation 2. However a new breed of consoles have started when Microsoft came out with the Xbox 360 taking the next step forward in gaming. This console was said to be a step above anything anyone had seen with the Playstation 2, Nintendo GameCube, or even the regular Xbox.

For a whole year Microsoft had cornered the market with the Xbox 360, and had record sales. However, Playstation and Nintendo finally caught up with the trend, with Sony releasing the Playstation 3, and Nintendo coming out with the Wii. This was the new 7th generation consoles, and because of that, this is when the console wars really heated up. They heated up because now the consumer was having a hard time trying to figure out where to spend their money, and gave them the best deal. This is how the Xbox stacks up against the competition.

When comparing the 360 to the Nintendo Wii, there really isn’t a comparison. Just take a look at the graphics from each console at your local gaming store and you’ll see how far ahead the Xbox 360 is in this department. While this may be true, there are similar titles that can be played on both systems, so you ought to compare the controls.[youtube:1FwA10on2nc;[link:xbox 360 hack];http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FwA10on2nc&feature=related]

The Xbox 360 controller allows it to be a bit easier to play most games like first person shooters, sports game, or other top Xbox 360 exclusive games. The Wii’s primary selling point to their system is the motion controller’s and while its a good piece of technology, it makes some of the first person shooter games and sports games a bit hard to play.

Probably one of the biggest differences is the high rated titles available on the Xbox 360. Most of these are geared towards the 20s to 30s crowd, while the Wii keeps their games set for the entire family. Seriously, how many moms and grandparents do you know who are going to enjoy Gears of War 1 and 2? Regardless, the Xbox 360 wins the battle in the quality of game’s department.

If you really want the best comparison you have to look at the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 continues to impress with its array of visuals that are comparable to PC games that have higher standard video cards, even though the PS3 takes the category because of Blu-Ray support. When looking at the consoles as a whole it is very easy to conclude that the consoles are both highly graphical and look alike to the general eye.

However, if you’re looking for more exclusive franchises, then the PS3 takes the cake. Then again, if you’re looking for more exclusive titles you’ll want to get a Xbox 360. While we’re unsure of a true winner in this area, we will tell you that the Xbox 360 holds more titles and more positive ratings. So we might want to give them a slight edge over their competition.

In the end you won’t find a concrete answer regarding this debate. While all 3 consoles are unique in their own way, they all give you a great way to enjoy video games. While the Xbox 360 and PS3 continue to battle, the final decision will come from you. The wars aren’t going anywhere, but the Xbox 360 is a powerful system that offers all kinds of benefits and features to the gaming. Maybe you want to take it for a spin.

There are many ways to learn how to xbox firmware hack, and this is where you can learn to do just that. Really great info here, so click to find out about burn xbox 360 games learn how to do it the easy way. Don’t spend hard earned cash on games anymore.
