Can I Use "happy Dance Collections" on My Nintendo Wii?

It's made for Japan but i would really like to play it. i have an American Wii and it said it only works on the Asian version of wii..but i wondered if anyone had tried using it ( or any other Japanese game intended only for the Asian console) on a different wii console. I know the answer is most likely no but it was something i had really wanted. just want to make sure. thanks anyways.
