Do You Think I'm a Spoiled Brat?
so i'm a 13 year old girl and i dunno why but some people think i'm spoiled when they meet me but when they get to know me they notice i don't have much. but why do they think this when they first meet me? my mom and dad give me probably 50 dollars a month. my parents don't have much money though. i have an mp3 and some nice clothes but nothing from hollister or american eagle just stuff from sales racks at stores. the money i get i use it for the things i need: soap, toothpaste, clothes. i only have 1 pair of boots and 2 pairs of converses but my converses are really beat up. my friend has like 10 or more pairs of shoes that are REALLY expensive. things i don't have: xbox360, wii, psp, ipod, phone, a tv in my room, ipad, and all that other expensive junk. i'm not getting any presents for christmas but i'm getting my braces off which is kinda a present that can't be wrapped. my best friend is getting this for christmas: xbox360, ipod, headphones, clothes, ipad, a new phone, a new wii, lots of video games and other stuff. she also told me her mom saved up about 2,000 dollars for her presents. that just makes me feel bad because i know i will never get those things ever! the only way i can get those things is if i get a job when i'm 16 and even then i won't be buying that stuff i'd buy things i actually need. also since i'll be graduating from 8th grade you'd think i'd be getting school pics taken and getting a new dress… wrong! i'm using my sister's dress that fits mem i'm doing my hair and nails at home, i'm using my sister's shoes, i'm not getting school pics (they're 50 dollars!), i'm also not getting a school ring (their 60 dollars!), the only thing i'm buying is the cap and gown because it's mandatory if it weren't i would save my money (it's 40-50 dollars). i also can't go out with friends or by myself only with family. i don't think i'm spoiled… do you think so?

im somewhat like that too u no? people think that by my looks that im "spoiled" and "rich" but the truth is that i dont have much more either but its ok money isnt everything i rele dont care if im "poor" to answer ur question no i dont think ur a spolied brat u seem nice 
sometimes i get jealous too when i c other kids getting that much money/things from their parents

You're not anywhere near spoiled! But your little friend is. Do you know how much alll of that stuff she wants cost and how rough it is on her parents? Be thankful you have something because there's kids out here that don't have anything.
Your not a spoiled brat! First off, your friend has more expensive values than you do. I'm considered spoiled but you don't sound like the type who does.
