How Can I Play American Games on a Japanese Wii?

I'm sure there's a mod out there. Anyone wanna point me in that direction?

As far as I know, there are three things you can do:
Softmod your Wii and install the correct software components for you to play foreign games. This is very effective provided that you do the softmodding flawlessly. There are loads of tutorials out there.

Else you can buy a modchip. They arent that expensive but work pretty well. The best one right now is the modchip called Wiikey. Finally there is this thing called FreeLoader which is a DVD that you can use to play any region games. I dont exactly know how this works but many claim that it is the 'clean' way to play foreign games on your wii.
