My Dad Got Me a Sega Megadrive from Ebay But…?

i heard that if it has the (High Defination Graphics) LOGO on there then it can play American Genesis NTSC format games… im from the UK and the segamegadrive im getting is PAL also its not got the high defination graphics logo on it,,, do you know of anything of this? also do you think the Sega megadrive is the best? Personally i think its the best video games console ever made! its better that the ps3 360 and wii! its a classic. thanks

I used to have a Mega Drive (Genesis in America, where I'm from) and it never had the High Definition Graphics logo. If your Genesis is for the PAL region it can probably only play PAL games, unfortunately. I have never even heard of this logo you're talking about. There is something called the Sega Firecore that plays all regions and has 12 games built in, though; it costs about $50 online. I personally think the Sega CD was the best one.
