Well, I have been babysitting since July and I love it because I love being able to help kids and be around them. Anyways, I feel that I do not have enough stuff for the kids to do. I got the American Girl book because it seemed like it had a lot of information, however it listed all this stuff that you should bring! What do you bring with to entertain the kids when you babysit? I usually bring a board game, maybe a few Wii Games, DVD's, and my prize box to let the kids pick from if they have been good. Any other suggestions to what I can bring?

Girls:
-Barbie Dolls or Brats(z) dolls & Doll house or furniture
-Baby dolls
-Toys such as play sets, easy bake etc.
-Coloring books & crayons
-Old dresses for dress up
-Board games
Boys:
-Video games
-Stuffed animals (Such as dinosaurs)
-Toy trucks (Hot Wheels may be too small for some kids)
-Coloring book & Crayons
-Board games
There are some things that would occupy kids younger or older.

Like the other answerer said..kids have lots of toys. But if you have a few Wii games that they don't have you could take those with you. I used to babysit a little girl and boy and they LOVED movies so those kept them entertained for hours. And from my experience, kids love baking. You could bake brownies or cookies and have them help you.
Well it really depends on their age and the child. I suggest going to the house before you babysit them and ask them what kinds of things they like to do. Baking is always fun. Crafts are good too.
in my experience; kids have toys. lots of them. you probably don't need to bring more toys.
