Wii Games Us-europe Please Help?

I bought 2 Nintendo Wii games in the US. After, I brought them back to Europe (Where I live) and my console cannot read the games. Is the American system different to the European one? I've checked all over the internet and it's not in the troubleshooting section. PLEASE HELP

Suggestion:

NO they dont. Nintendo decided to integrate region locking on it's wii system.

So basically USA / Japanese games will not work on your Euro wii.

although, some people say that you can install a wiikey and the problem will be solved.
