Will an American Wii Work on an English Television?

we just moved from the USA to the UK and we have an american wii console with many american wii games, we brought a small american television over and got a voltage-converter for it, so the wii worked on that tv, but we'd really like to have the wii hooked up to our main tv in our lounge. will it work? like i say, we've got plug convertor/adaptors (so the whole voltage thing isnt an issue), we just need to know if the american wii (with american games) will work on an english tv?

Depends on the TV, most newer TV's are Pal and NTSC compatible and some even take both 110 and 220 volts but a lot of older ones are no. Check the specs of the TV first, or if you already have one that is not compatible you can buy an NTSC/PAL converter
