How to Transfer Downloaded Games Between Wii Consoles?
I have a launch model nintendo Wii which I have downloaded several classic and WiiWare games on to. This wii recently died on me and now refuses to eject discs. I got a new Wii Motion+ for my birthday today and I'm wondering if there's any way I can transfer my downloaded games onto my new wii. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Suggestion:
It appears that you can transfer data using the SD Card Channel, though you need a Wii System Update to Wii Menu 4.0, (presuming you're using an older version).
Save data cannot be loaded directly from SD Cards, you will have to move it to the Wii System Memory in order to read it.
I am unaware if you can transfer games / Channels from one Wii console to another, but at least you will still have the games on your SD Card.

I don't think you can do it w/o opening them both up and hooking into the hard drives and transferring it that way. You'd need a lot of computer know how and it would void your warranty. If you talk to NIntendo Customer Service they may be willing to give you the points needed to re download the titles and then you'd only be out the saved data. Even if you could transfer the data I'm not sure it would work since some data is hooked to serial numbers.
save then to a sd card
