Is There a Game in My Wii Console?

My Wii won't turn on and I was wondering if there is a way to check if there is a disc in the console or not.

Suggestion:

Its easy if it dosent turn on take the plug out and un assemble the cordes and reassemble them!
If there is a game that means that you have to call customer services for nintendo wii.
