Will a Uk Wii Game Work in a Us Wii Console?

I heard that they won't but i wanted to make sure, and i was told of the Wii Freeloader that lets you play foreign games, Do i need that to play a UK wii game in a US console? or what do i need to do? and if i DO need the Wii Freeloader where can i find one? i looked on ebay and i couldn't find any,

Suggestion:

don't update if you haven't yet. 4.3 is bad news (still hackable). you can run games from anywhere with the right software. you will need a homebrew channel and a loader atleast (neogamma would work). what you need to do is install hbc and then put neogamma on your s/d card. then i would think (i don't use neogamma much) mount the disk. you may need to force ntsc in the settings for that game. it's all free no ebay needed. good news huh?

I use NeoGamma which is the homebrew channel and use force region

a PAL wont work on a NTSC

UK uses PAL while US uses NTSC. You should use a game loader software on your wii or else it won't work.

This is an issue of PAL vs NTSC…

You'll need to modify your system in order to bypass the regional issues since Wii Freeloader most likely will not work in modern (updated) systems.
