Suggestion:
Wii games are whats called region locked. Meaning that say I can't play Japan games on my American wii. This is also called Japan- PAL. American -NTSC. Both the regions you are wondering about are under PAL. So you should have no trouble playing a HK game on your wii.

There is something called Freeloader that lets you play Region Free,
but with out it, they are region blocked, the codes and some examples are here
PAL-Europe, Australia
NTSCU- U.S, Canada
NTSCJ, Japan, China
And Korea has their one code which i dont know

cause my brother brought a XBOX game in HK and it didn't work for our UK xbox

you should ask the people in the shops
Games bought from China won't work on UK Wii consoles. Because the Chinese games and console are in NTSC, while the UK games and consoles are in PAL.
