Is the Nintendo 3ds Going to Be Backward Compatible Like the Wii and What Games Are Coming out for It at First?

i have a lot of games from my ds lite and dsi, and don't know if it can play those games, and i don't know what games to look for at first besides for donkey kong and kid icarious, and how much will the games cost, what am i looking at 50-70$ or less for the games, also when will the system come out and how much will it cost, i hear 200$ or sometimes even 250$

Suggestion:

The games will be the same price as original ds games, $40 on release. It will be backwards compatible like most recent Nintendo platforms. The handheld will go for around $200, hard to say with it coming out next March. The graphics will be on par if not better then the Wii's. Tilt control, 3D (of course) and can take 3D pictures. The list of games is amazing.
