question about japanese currency.?

1 dollar = 88 yen,

so my question is how much does a McDouble (1 USD) cost in japan?

also how much does a nintendo wii (200 USD) cost in japan?

im just wondering if these are cheaper or more expansive in japan

Suggestion:

There is no McDouble in Japan.

A regular McDonalds hamburger will range you 100yen (about $1.13 usd depending on exchange rate)

A Nintedo Wii will cost you from $190-220 usd depending on where you buy it at it might be cheaper or more expensive.

    The Wii: 18,827.00 JPY = 211.91 USD

Can't help you on the McDouble, but from what I know from experience, McDonald's is generally more expensive than in the U.S.

McDonald's double cheese burger(not McDouble)'s ordinary price may vary but it's Yen290 around so now in Japan. People usually use coupon and order combo, not just a burger. The quality, taste, contents and size are different from McDouble anyway.

Wii's retail price also may vary but it's Yen25,000 around. Both of those Japanese retail prices are at least not so attractive to place order for American travelers going to Japan. It doesn't mean retails in Japan are all so expensive anyway.

EVERYTHING will be more expensive in Japan because the Yen is stronger than the dollar. Think of it this way you could be buying a 100 JPY soda, that soda just cost you $1.14 USD.
