Sorry, but no. I tried it. But, if you get a Netflix account, you can a request that a disc be sent to your house. The disc can go in the Wii and you can watch some movies instantly for free.

lol all of the people who answered your question dont know anything about wii.. netflix???future nintendo??? lol the only thing you need to do is softmod ur wii and get the homebrew channel (google it) one you get the homebrew channel ull need to install the ios202 which is the ios capable of reading dvds, then install the WIIMC aplication on ur SD or USB then plug it into ur wii acces to the application and ull be able to watch dvds… link below
Yes you can, but you will need to softmod your wii to do it, just google it.
Not DVDs exactly but you can convert them into a SD card and watch them off of there! hope i helped!
No you cannot. Maybe future Nintendo Consoles will let you do that.
