Who cares if which game has the better graphics as long the game is fun that's what Nintendo does and there are the only few Companies that focus on Fun & The Game-Play & Knows Gaming supposed to be in the first Place & I Think Graphics & OnLine & Even FPS has Killed Gaming because People & The Developers has for gotten what made gaming that is today & It was all about the Game-Play & Having a good story in a game that what makes fun & Good & Graphics don't make the game People . The Wii also has the wii shop channel that where you Can download old games from the Past & it has GameCube Support & You can Play your old GameCube Games on it unlike the Xbox & PS They won't let you to play your old games from the past which is a shame. The Wii also has good games Even though the graphics are bad on the wii but is still a very good console that people aren't giving enough credit for & It needs more love. Yea the wii has bad 3rd party support but that doesn't the wii a bad console at all cause it has very good 3rd party games and you have to look very hard for them but they are there. The Other thing I Like about the wii is that it was the most Innovative console at it's time to have the motion in there controllers & No Sony didn't have motion Controls first it was Nintendo had motion controls with the power glove & Now the Wii that what makes the wii so special & stand out from the crowd . Sony Rips off the wii with there motion controller and it was the Move Now they are coping Nintendo again cause Nintendo was the first one to have a Tablet like controller but Now Sony & Microsoft are doing it as well & They can't come up with there own ideas & Stop Coping off Nintendo . It's like Coping people off a test & You get all the credit for it Cause you copy the other person to get all the answers & The other Person you deserve all the credit not the other person who copies off you cause & get all the answers cause your the only person knows all the answers from the test cause you been studying for the test & Other Person didn't that's my analogy.
skyward sword had atrocious art style. even old zelda fans agreed on that. compare that to resonance of fate or valkyria chronicles and you'll see what i mean.
although i highly doubt you've heard of those games since from the looks of it you only know mainstream titles, which is why you've made such an uninformed decision.
the wii suits you. online gaming doesn't need another little kid mucking up everything.

PC, that's all I have to say.
PC = Gameplay, Graphics, Easy Online Gaming and Steam is the best thing since the klu klux klan.
I refused to read past the first paragraph. Learn to spell and type.
In regards to your question. Wii is a good gaming system and if it has the usual genre that your interested in then go for it, but Wii is a very limited system. If you ever have an interest in a First Person Shooter then you're pretty much out of luck because FPS on the Wii is annoying and crap. If you like the wide variety of gaming options that are out there and you want the most for your money (games, movies, etc.) Then I'd go with the PS3. And that's not fan-boy talk, I've been a dedicated Microsoft consumer for years and have both the PS3 and 360. You have to have a much larger Hard Drive to use it to its full potential, but it is still great.
And PS3 didn't steal/copy nothing. It's called competition and you see it everywhere and PS3 did it better =P. Yes Kinect for 360 is more unique, but it's also more limited. For example, Mass Effect 3 will be Kinect enabled, but as far as I'm aware, that's just for voice commands. Hopefully, the next Kinect will be much more effective for FPS like the movie "Gamer".
Unless its true virtual reality like star treks holodeck, i dont see how the current omes can be improved upon
I really am getting sick of 'HERP DERP GAMEPLAY > GRAPHICS'
You aren't original, cool or intelligent for thinking that.
"It was all about the Game-Play"
err… doesn't the online mode go into that?
"Having a good story in a game that what makes fun"
No, the gameplay makes it fun.
"he Wii also has the wii shop channel that where you Can download old games from the Past & it has GameCube Support & You can Play your old GameCube Games on it unlike the Xbox & PS They won't let you to play your old games from the past which is a shame."
Do research before you make these ridiculous claims. PS3 and Xbox 360 are backwards compatible.
"The Wii also has good games Even though the graphics are bad on the wii but is still a very good console that people aren't giving enough credit for & It needs more love."
The 360 and PS3 have (arguably) better games with good graphics. The Wii has hardly any third-party support which has killed it for a lot of hardcore gamers.
"The Other thing I Like about the wii is that it was the most Innovative console at it's time to have the motion in there controllers & No Sony didn't have motion Controls first it was Nintendo had motion controls with the power glove"
first =/= best. Also, lolpowerglove.
"Sony Rips off the wii with there motion controller and it was the Move Now they are coping Nintendo again cause Nintendo was the first one to have a Tablet like controller but Now Sony & Microsoft are doing it as well & They can't come up with there own ideas & Stop Coping off Nintendo . There is no proof that Sony or Microsoft are using a tablet controller. That is purely speculation and I hope that it is false as the Wii U's controller is horrible. Motion controls appeal to the masses. Therefore Sony are cashing in on it with an arguably better product. That is good business practice.
Dr. No: I heartily agree with you regarding Skyward sword's art style. The anime-inspired characters look awful. To see the fanboys say 'it is visually more appealing than games like Skyrim' makes me wonder if their eyesight is in check. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I cannot see anything redeemable with the art style Nintendo went for.
Isaac has it right; PC > Consoles in terms of performance and Steam's deals are amazing.
I couldn't even read your whole no-sensical posting.
I agree, graphics are being pushed a little too hard in today's gaming trends right now. Yeah, games are supposed to be fun, and I feel that focus has been pushed away from gameplay and more towards graphics and online multiplayer.
Honestly, online multiplayer has enhanced gaming. The first company to really go anywhere with it? Microsoft. Xbox Live and Halo 2 saved that console, and Halo 2 basically invented the modern techniques used to connect to other people on an online server. The first person shooter? That's been around longer than just this generation. Hell, Top Gun on the NES just happened to be the first thing I could think of from an older generation, and that game was horrible. Contra on the NES is another game, and that game was AMAZING! Konami for life my friend! But the point I'm trying to make is that these are advancements that were inevitable. Embrace them, and enjoy them for what they are, additions to the gaming world.
As for the Wii Shop and GameCube support, the 360 does support original Xbox games. In fact, I still play some. Sony did drop the ball on dropping PS2 support, but hey, that's how it goes. But I can't give the Wii Shop any credit because it sucks. $10 for games I can buy in the original format for less? No thanks. As a collector, it's a lame gimmick, and I see right through it. It's amusing at best, but it's not a real argument point because I can get all the games I want for free and play them on my PC, and my PC has a pretty big hard drive (Whoops! Did I just say that out loud?). Regardless, I would have never bought a Wii if it didn't have GameCube support because I play GameCube games more than I play Wii games, which brings to me to my next point.
3rd party support on Nintendo consoles has sucked since the N64, and it's getting old. Look, Super Mario Galaxy, sucked. The new Mario Party? It sucked. Super Smash Bros. Brawl? No thank you. Why should I have to "look hard" to find a 3rd party game? They should be there, it should be a give-in because 3rd party companies make the game for you. They make money FOR YOU, and you are stupid to alienate them. Good 3rd party companies don't support Nintendo anymore, like Konami and Capcom, which is a shame, because those companies are amazing, and they deserve more credit than that.
Motion controls suck. I hate them. I hate them on Nintendo, I hate them on Sony, and if one more schmuck comes up to me and tells me the Kinect is good, they are getting sucker punched in the ovaries. I don't want to play any game with motion controls, let alone fighting, platformers, RPG's, action and sports games. No thank you. By the way, Nintendo was first, but back in 1989 with the Power Glove. It sucked back then too. Actually, Sega had the first REAL motion control with the Sega Activator in the early 90's (92? I don't remember). Guess what? It sucked too. Yeah, they copied Nintendo, but they copied a bad idea so all 3 of them get credit for the suckage.
Honestly, I bought a 360, and a Wii, and the only thing keeping me from a PlayStation is money, and the opportunity to buy one backwards-compatible. You make a few good points on graphics, but the rest kind of seem like fanboy ranting. Regardless, if I could only have one, I'd get a 360 again. I still stand by that decision, primarily because I wanted Halo 3, which was a good game. Now, I'm off to play some Contra and Super Mario Bros. 3 on my top loading NES.
