Will getting the Rocketfish Component Cable set or something similar for me Wii help the overall image quality, and movies? And is RCA and component our only option.

Suggestion:
The component cables will only make the picture slightly better. You're just going from 480i to 480p
Wii games are not HD, so you only have 2 options: the composite and component cables.

You paid $24 for the component cable? You got scammed, buddy.
Wii component cable go for about $5 on ebay. Same thing as Monster cables, minus them raping your wallet. Hope you can return it!
