Why Wont My Nintendo Wii Remote Sync?

Ive pressed the sync button on the console and then on the remote and the other way round but every time i do it the light flashes and then it turns off.

What do i have to do?

This happens from time to time. Click red bottom on ii and remote one more time. If it still doesn't work … Hold both of the buttons.If it has more then one then just hold down the wii red button and get a buddy to hold down another remote.
