The Ultimate WoW Guide’s almost limitless coverage of the World of Warcraft is thoroughly all-encompassing. Its whole justification is to ensure your character class maximizes its potential in every aspect of the game, not just one area like leveling or gold, as so many other guides seem to do.
To dedicate a guide that solely deals with, for example, professions isn’t a bad thing, let’s get that straight. What I’m trying to say is if you discover a guide that talks about with every aspect of a game like World of Warcraft, from both factions and all character class, then surely that’s a good thing.
You’ve probably already guessed that Dugi is not the author’s real name. It’s Dave Farrell. He has spent an extraordinary amount of time playing (I understand just under 7700 hours) and learning everything there is to know about WoW. That’s a huge amount of time to spent on anything. I don’t know, but you kind of get the feeling Dave is on his own or at least chances are he is now.
Also when I talk about Guide I really should be saying Guides (plural). There isn’t just one, there’s a ton of them covering every sphere of the game you can think of. And because of the huge depth of knowledge disclosed it makes no difference whether you are a WoW newbie or a seasoned pro, there is more than enough new detailed information for you to uncover in Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide.
Of course there is nothing stopping you from buying yourself numerous guides, one for every area and they’ll all be first rate too. But you’ve got to ask the question, is it worth it when you can get just one brilliant guide that covers it all for you at what is a much more competitive price?
During those endless hours playing playing the game, Dave Farrell freely admits that he quite often become dispirited at the whole thing. Understandable I suppose when all the time he kept noticing that most of the people he met playing the game were really struggling and were therefore not enjoying playing. Dave knew that the only real motive to play games like this is to enjoy yourself. It was out of this experience that the concept for his Ultimate WoW Guide came about. You can now stop that frustration and have a good time too.
Dave Farrell has segmented the Guide into 3 separate parts. Leveling up, earning gold and players v player.
There is a specific rationale behind this and why the first one of these guides you will study is leveling. This is where you stop, before you start, all the things that Dave realized all those he was playing with were doing and were the reason they didn’t enjoy playing WoW. You do not need to go through that heartache.
Each class get their own talent descriptions which helpfully eliminates all the assumptions in how to level up your character class.
Here are some other great qualities of Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide. There is no more need to go through the annoying procedure of having to toggle between the game and the guide. This is an add-on that runs smoothly from within the game itself. Also installation, even without the video you get, is so simple. And this next one was very important, to me anyway. The Guide is fully Apple compatible. Being an Apple man that was obviously essential.
Dave Farrell obviously knew what he was on about when he named his guide because it lives up to the title of Dugi’s Ultimate WoW Guide.
