Danton: Proficient, soaking up, knowing tirade of Danton, Robespierre, and the Reign of Fear following the French Rebellion. This is a radiant film, with apparent resemblances to modern-day partisan circumstance in Poland. Depardieu is extraordinary in the title role. Aces High: Aces High is a British war film that deals with WWI. There are exiting dogfights with WWI planes. We follow a pilot’s view of this war as he is lead by a disheartened squad leader. Malcolm McDowell, Christopher Plummer, Simon Ward, and Peter Firth star. (1976 Military)
Kind Lady: Scary little chiller in regards to a ladylike older female Barrymore who is victimized by a charmer. Evans takes over her home-and her life. Wynn is specifically powerful as a thug and butler. Above the Law: This is Steven Segal’s breakout movie. He plays a Chicago Police man who takes matters into his own hands. As the title implies, he is ‘above the law’. He uses his large body and martial arts skills to wreak havoc on the bad guys. Stars include Steven Segal, Pam Grier, and Sharon Stone. (1988 Action)
