Want to know how to level a Warlock? Well, before we go into that, its a good idea to know a little bit about the class. The Warlock is a powerful spell caster who has the ability to call forth minions to aid him in combat.
To be more specific, the Warlock has the ability to hold enemy aggro with their minions, while they lob damage over time spells and Shadowbolts at the enemy in order to take them down.
Now if you’re serious about learning how to level a Warlock, I’ll quickly go over with you what you need to know:
First of all, when you begin, one of the best demons you can summon to help you out is the Voidwalker. He is your second demon who youll get at level 10 and he does a great job of holding the aggro of not only 1, but several mobs at a time.
When you start off fighting an enemy, the basic sequence of events will be to first of all, send the minion in, then to cast Immolate, then apply Curse of Agony followed by Corruption, then finally Drain Life until the enemy is dead.
As for attacking multiple mobs at a time, the sequence of spells is basically the same with a few changes. You want to start by sending in your minion, then casting Immolate on 1 of the mobs, then Curse of Agony, Corruption and Drain Life. If other mobs are approaching you want to Fear them, then re-apply the DOTs to the first target until its dead before moving onto the next feared enemy.
This should be enough to get you through the game without much trouble, but keep in mind that later on you’re going to want to switch to the Felguard, he dishes out a lot more damage in the later levels.
If this was not enough info for you and you still want to learn how to level a Warlock, you may consider a more in-depth guide.
