How to Transfer Wii Game from Sd?

My friend gave me a game for my wii VIA SD card. I put the SD card in my wii but when I go to the SD card channel thing it says this channel could not be launched on this wii console.and when I try to copy it it says this channel could not be copied onto this wii console. It is a legal copy – they paid nintendo for it- Please help me!

Suggestion:

try transferring it to a different sd card if that does not work then i am sorry
