How Do You Know if Your Wii is Hacked?

I installed Wii Homebrew Channel on my Wii, this is a dumb question but does that mean my Wii is hacked? LOL

Try unhacking it. If you can do that succesfully, then it would definitley have had to be hacked.

Hacked and Modded are too different terms but some people think they are synonymous when really they aren't. What your talking about is modding which is different from hacking.

Modding/Mod is short for Modifcation. For example your given a toy car, make some adjustments and then it runs better. You wouldn't call it hacking. Sucessfully installing homebrew channel is just a mod. A very easy one indeed.

A hack is a term used when reffering to technology and accessing things that weren't meant to be accessed. Example China HACKING personal email accounts to find out information.

So TECHNICALLY your Wii has not been hacked, it has just been modified and by all means a SOFTWARE modification ( like involving firmware and Wii menu .) A hardware modification would be like cool glowing light effects on your wii, or another fan or mother board inside etc..
