I'm sure you will get a lot of answers from PS3 and XBOX fanboys, but as an owner of all three systems, I can say that the WII is not the best system in terms of graphics, sound, or number of good games, but in terms of family fun, the WII has way more titles that will get the family together.

Oh hecks yeah.Its a quality system especialy if you can connect it to internet.There is a parental control on the wii too so your kids dont see anything innapropriate.It also has a great variety of games where as the 360 has mostly shooters.Plus those other systems mostly have m rated games.Its also much cheaper than other consoles such as the playstation move which costs 400 dollars!(Holy Crap!)Not even the 3DS is going to be so expensive!plus its actually cheaper getting a home console where as for handhelds,everybody will want their own.There are many other cool features about it that I just can fit in this answer.Long live the wii and long live nintendo!
