So, How Do I Hook My Wii Up to My New Hd Flat Screen?

I had my uncle look at it yesterday and attempt to hook it up for me, but he couldn't because my new TV does have the red audio area to plug the Wii into. I mean, it's a brand new TV. There has to be some way to hook up my Wii?

Suggestion:

There has to be a red white audio jack. Check your manual, we haven't gone too far into converting everything to HD yet so there will be a need for it.

While you're at it, you might wanna buy Wii component cables (eBay, Monoprice) which will give you better colors than the stock cable the Wii comes with.

Well if it doesn't have ti dont plug that one it it will usally work. if you have tv made by samsung, it does. Also if it doesn't work nintendo has a hotline to call.

Mostly though relax, take time to read through the directions and follow them. New t.v.s are made to work with these programs other wise they wouldn't sell at all.

Um…..I do not know what is red audio. Do you mean the red, yellow & white ports or you could say composite. Those composite cable should come with your Wii & you hook those cables in the back of your HDTV in the top left corner box that say's (Video L R) & those composite should be plug in the back of your HDTV & looks like this:

But if you want clearer picture & better sound, then you should buy the cable that is called "Components cable" & they look like this:

Those Components cables they go back of your HDTV on the bottom that says (Comp1 or Comp2). It is really comon since & I hope this helps.

-I own a 52"Sony Bravia HDTV/LCD 1080P 120Hz,Xbox 360 Elite,Wii, & PS3 Slim.
