What Does Wii Mean in the Game?

What does each letter stand for in this game system?

Suggestion:

The letters don't stand for anything really but Nintendo picked the name because it sounds like we and that indicates that more than one person can play, also the two i's in Wii represent two people and are also supposed to look like the Wii remote.

It's not an abbreviation. Nintendo's official explanation was:

–Wii sounds like "we", suggesting the focus on communal play.
–"We" is a sound that is a natural part of the predomanent languange in every part of the world the system is to be released in.
–The Japanese character selected for the "ii" sound is the character for "good"
–The two "i"s in the font chosen for the logo look like two stick people, again suggesting the communal play.

Nothing.
Wii was chosen for the name of Nintendo's latest console to emphasize its party-like gaming with motion sensing. The 2 i's represent 2 people.
So the actual W, i, i in Wii doesn't stand for anything.

its probably chinese for "the new nintendo you have move the controller to play the games super happy fun time alright street."

nothing
same as playstation.. or xbox.
dont get to thinking stuff means something when it doesnt
its just a name, and nothing more..
