Will the Uk Pal Version of Te Nintendo Wii Sports the Same As Ireland?

Im thinking of buying the nintendo wii sports, uk pal version, on amazon. Im from the republic of ireland, and want 2 know wat does tat uk pal version mean.

Suggestion:

Ireland uses PAL like the UK does, you should be okay.
